A Japanese-market 400 cc cruiser that followed the NV750 Custom recipe in a licence-friendly size. Its liquid-cooled 52-degree V-twin uses three valves per cylinder and a crank layout chosen to cut vibration, while the teardrop tank, low seat, fat 16-inch rear tyre and chrome details gave it the American custom look. It arrived just as racer replicas took over the market, so sales were modest until the Steed replaced it.
